The 4th issue of Psychology in Russia: State of the Art in 2016 is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Lev Vygotsky. His contribution to the fields of developmental, educational and special psychology still have a ripple effect in contemporary research and practice. Lev Vygostsky is a Soviet/Russian scientist but his legacy belongs to the world culture. We will be happy to receive manuscripts with developments of Vygotsky's ideas in different countries and different areas of psychology. Submission deadline is September 15th, 2016.

The meeting between the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Tretyak Natalya, the Rector of the Moscow Pedagogical Academy of Preschool Education, Chair of the International Organizing Committee Dr. Nikolai Veraksa and Executive Director of the ECCE 2016 Mikhail Elkin took place.
According to the agreement between the Russian Psychological Society and the Elsevier Ltd Publishers. (Scopus database holder) it is planned to publish a special issue of Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences in 2016 (fully indexed by Web of Science) which will be devoted to the Annual Fifth International ConferenceEarly Childhood Care and Education, (ECCE 2016) to be held in May, 12-14, 2016, Moscow, Russia.
The issue may include conference participants’ abstracts that have been modified to meet the requirements for an article.
