Dear colleagues!

Fourth International Research-to-Practice Conference “Early Childhood Care and Education” will be held at the Lomonosov Moscow State University on 23-25 April 2015.

The Conference is being organized by the Moscow Pedagogical Academy of Preschool Education (MPADO), Lomonosov Moscow State University; with support of the Civic Chamber of Russia, Government of Moscow, Federal Institute for Development of Education, ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’, Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, World Bank, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia, Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations; with participation of the University of Gothenburg (Sweden).

International Conference “Early Childhood Care and Education” is the largest international event in the field of early education held in Russia. 

The main aims of the Conference are: bringing the topical issues and the prospects of future research in the field of early childhood care and education to international academic discussion, expansion of partnership and networking, promotion of ICT in early education, enabling Russian practitioners and researchers to learn about foreign experience and early education management.  

Sweden will be the Guest of Honor country of the 2015 Conference. Roger Säljö, the Head of the Department of Education at the University of Gothenburg, is a member of the Conference Organizing Committee. Representatives of the University of Gothenburg will showcase the results of their latest research in the field of early education.   

Rector of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.A. Sadovnichy, Rector of the Moscow Pedagogical Academy of Preschool Education N.E. Veraksa, Director of the Federal Institute for Development of Education A.G. Asmolov, representatives of the Swedish Embassy in Russia, Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Government of Moscow, ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’ will take part in the Conference.

II Specialized International Exhibition “Preschool Education Today” will be held in the framework of the Conference on 24-25 April. It will showcase the up-to-date facilities for preschool institutions, early education programs and teaching techniques, latest play and teaching equipment.     

On 25 April, in the framework of the open education program “Preschool Education Today”, specialists and other participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures, workshops, master classes, presentations by the authors of early education programs, publishers of development literature for children, manufacturers of play and teaching equipment, prominent scholars and practitioners in early childhood care and education.

On 25 April, the awarding ceremony for the winners of the international contest “Information and Communication Technologies in Preschool Institution – 2014” will take place.   

A press center will be set up to facilitate the work of mass media representatives.

Media accreditation rules

1. Media representatives will be accredited for the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education» with the following purposes:

  • to provide transparency of the Conference, as well as prompt and impartial coverage of its activities in mass media;
  • to provide professional working environment for media representatives, so that they will be able to give a full and impartial account of the Conference activities;
  • to enhance cooperation between the Conference and mass media;
  • to provide professional working environment for journalists, so that they will be able to fulfill their social responsibilities and furnish information to the general public.

2. Media representatives, who intend to work at the Conference, are required to be accredited.

3. The Organizing committee is entitled to use any articles, photo or video materials covering the preparations for the Conference and its activities. References to their authors will be made.

4. In order to be accredited for the Forum, mass media must be registered in accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation «On Mass Media».

5. In order to provide quick access to information resources and comfortable working environment on the Conference premises, the number of media representatives will be limited.

6. All media representatives, whose accreditation is confirmed in the Conference database, will obtain accreditation badges. Accreditation badges will be given at the register desk before the Conference opening.

REFERENCE RULES

The Organizing committee for the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education» asks media representatives to follow the rules of handling official information.

All media materials, where the official information is used or the Conference participants are quoted, must contain references to the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education»; web portals must make references to the Conference website – www.ECCEconference.com. Any changes, additions or distortions of this information are not allowed.

Print media and radio. Any interview or article, covering the Event, must contain references to the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education».

Television. Any interview or report, covering the Event, must contain references to the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education».

Internet Publications. Any interview or article, covering the Event, must contain references to the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Child Care and Education».

Pictures. Any photographic material, made during the Event and published in mass media, must contain references to the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education». References should be made by way of captions or by depicting the Conference emblem/logo.

Blogs and social networks. Any official information, obtained during the Third Annual International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education», or quotations from the speeches of its participants (must be made with participants’ consent), posted on the Internet (blogs, social networks, etc), must be factual.

Conference organizers will not bear responsibility for any statements posted on blogs or social networks. The Organizing committee is entitled to use any articles, photo and video materials, made by media representatives during the Conference. References to their authors will be made.

The Organizing committee of the International Research-to-Practice Conference «Early Childhood Care and Education» offers media partnership to Russian and foreign media (periodicals, television and radio companies, press agencies, web portals) and invites them for cooperation.

Standard media partnership package includes:

1. Media partner’s official logo and profile will be published on the official Conference website’s Homepage;

2. Branding on:

  • banners, standers and other advertising structures which will be present at the Conference;
  • all information and promo materials for the Conference participants.

3. Print media will have the opportunity of distributing their production:

  • by putting a newspaper stand at the reception desk;
  • by distributing their advertising and information materials.

4. Media partners will be allowed to use their own advertising posters in the reception area.
